This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the FilmScout Terms of Service. It describes what you may and may not do while using FilmScout. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, removal of contributions, and legal action where appropriate.

FilmScout is licensed for personal, non-commercial use within your own household. Within that scope, you may use FilmScout to inform your own family's viewing decisions, share occasional screenshots in personal communications, and submit requests or feedback to help improve the service.

If you wish to use FilmScout's data, scene timestamps, or other content for a commercial purpose (including but not limited to integration into educational platforms, parental-control products, content-rating tools, or research products), please contact us at [email protected]. Commercial licensing is available on commercially reasonable terms. Use of FilmScout for any commercial purpose without a written licence from us is prohibited.

4. Reporting abuse

If you encounter content or behaviour on FilmScout that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to [email protected]. We review reports promptly and may take action including content removal, warnings, suspension, or account termination.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to investigate, remove, or restrict access to any content or account at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy has occurred or is likely to occur. Decisions are at our sole discretion and final.

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at the top of this page with a clear effective date.
